Discussion

Lamm v. Richard J. Smith

In a construction defect lawsuit filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court, a homeowner sued the general contractor alleging significant defects in the construction of their home. The firm’s client was the electrical subcontractor for the project whose work included interior and exterior installations. With the use of a qualified expert, Mr. Scott was able to demonstrate that the claims related to the client’s electrical work were weak, and negotiated an agreement for the client to be dismissed in exchange for a waiver of costs.
