Gray•Duffy, LLP Adds George Camerlengo as Partner in Redwood City Office

Gray•Duffy, LLP welcomes George Camerlengo as Partner in its Redwood City office. Mr. Camerlengo has more than 40 years’ experience as a civil litigator specializing in employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage and hour claims, representing both employees and employers. “George brings tremendous depth to our employment law practice. His solid track record of success and vast expertise will help bear on the firm’s success,” said Gary Gray, Managing Partner of Gray•Duffy, LLP. “We look forward to having him as part of our firm.” Shortly after receiving his Juris Doctorate, he served a one-year clerkship with the late Honorable Preston Devine, Presiding Judge of the California Court of Appeal of the First Appellate District. For nearly 10 years, Mr. Camerlengo served as a civil deputy district attorney for the County of San Mateo, handling civil rights claims, employment disputes, and constitutional claims in both state and federal trial and appellate courts on behalf of the County. Prior to joining Gray•Duffy, Mr. Camerlengo practiced in the private sector as a founding partner of Camerlengo & Johnson, handling civil appeals and varied administrative hearings. During this time, he also served as a San Mateo County Judge pro tem for Lanterman-Petris Short conservatorship hearings, as well as a county hearing officer for San Mateo County in educational matters, including housing disputes and retirement board cases. Mr. Camerlengo obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University.
