Tyler Development Corporation v. Oriole Drive (LA) LLC
Gray•Duffy was retained to represent the interests of a custom home builder in connection with obtaining monies owed on a very high-end residential construction project. The issues were complicated due to the fact the “owner” of the property was subject to a Federal forfeiture proceeding of all of its assets, including the residence.
Despite numerous roadblocks due to the pending asset forfeiture, Gray•Duffy was able to secure a settlement which resulted in a payment to the general contract in amount of $180,000.
