1. Automobiles owned by drivers working for “transportation network companies” (TNC) such as Uber and Lyft are insured for comprehensive and collision under the “transportation network company” policies for physical damage while logged onto the ride sharing app. False. Once the driver accepts a trip, the TNC insurance policy becomes primary and in the amount of $1,000,000 for third party liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage and third party property damage.
