Richard Williams of Gray•Duffy’s Redwood City office successfully defended Streamline Communications, Inc. in a breach of software services contract case venued in San Jose, CA by obtaining a dismissal of the lawsuit.

Discussion

Team San Jose v. Streamline Communications Streamline Communications, Inc. is a communications software provider who contracted with Team San Jose for the provision of network communication services to the San Jose Convention Center. After many years of providing such services, the City of San Jose and Team San Jose brought suit against Streamline alleging various contract violations regarding the services to be provided to the convention center by Streamline. After prolonged negotiations that included the San Jose Mayor’s Office and the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, the suit against Streamline Communications was ultimately dismissed in exchange for the transfer of certain accounts receivable of Streamline Communications to Team San Jose. No money was paid by Gray•Duffy’s client toward the settlement of this lawsuit.
