Canale v. Pulte Home Corp. The construction defect lawsuit involved 42 single family homes located in Brentwood, California. Construction defect allegations were made against numerous trades, including the firm’s masonry subcontractor client. The case was resolved through a settlement between the homeowners, the builder and the various subcontractors. Through aggressive negotiations and asserting the lack of any construction errors as to the masonry work, the firm’s client was dismissed as part of the overall settlement.
