Gray•Duffy negotiates dismissal of client in construction defect lawsuit
March 2021
This litigation involved the construction and sale of a single family home located in Los Angeles. Gray•Duffy’s client was hired as a Subcontractor to perform water-proofing work in connection with three shower pans, two decks and a concrete wall.
The Plaintiff was vague in its defect claims, which did not appear to relate to our client’s work.
After several months of our requests to have the insured dismissed from the lawsuit, the Plaintiff and General Contractor finally dismissed our client.
