Timothy Thornton Appointed as Chair of ABA TIPS Insurance Coverage Litigation General Committee

Partner Timothy Thornton has been appointed as Chair of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s (TIPS) Insurance Coverage Litigation General Committee for the 2020-21 bar year. He previously served as Technology Vice-Chair of the Committee.

As Chair, Mr. Thornton will work and network with other leaders from around the country, be at the forefront of emerging issues, participate in cutting-edge nationally recognized CLE programs, and participate in and lead activities that enhance professional development, ethics, diversity and public service. The leadership appointment is in recognition of Mr. Thornton’s competence and experience, commitment to TIPS, and reputation among the nearly 11,000 TIPS members.
