Defense Verdict Obtained for LA Metro in Personal Injury Case

Michael Eisenbaum obtained a defense verdict for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) in a personal injury case arising from a June 2023 incident on a LA Metro bus. The plaintiff alleged significant head and back injuries after falling when the bus driver braked to avoid an unexpected vehicle U-turn. After less than two hours of deliberation, the jury found that negligence was not a substantial factor in causing the plaintiff’s injuries.
