Laurent O’Shea, III

Senior Associate

Laurent O’Shea, III is a Senior Associate with Gray•Duffy, LLP in the firm’s Woodland Hills office. His litigation practice focuses on all aspects of construction defect, bad faith, personal injury and product liability matters. Mr. O’Shea has litigated more than 15 trials, including nine jury trials. He has also acted as an arbitrator and settlement advisor to third-party litigation. 

With extensive experience in commercial real estate, Mr. O’Shea brings expertise in the preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements, lease agreements and related legal documentation to complete transactions. He is well-versed in real estate investment, including the acquisition, divestiture and roll-over of raw land, single and multi-tenant residential, and single and multi-tenant commercial properties. 

Mr. O’Shea obtained his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and B.A. from the University of Dallas. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1988 and holds a California Department of Real Estate License, NMLS Mortgage License and is a licensed Life & Health Agent.  

Outside of the office, Mr. O’Shea is an accomplished triathlete, having completed eight Ironman competitions, including two world championships in Kona, as well as thirty Half Ironman competitions where he routinely placed in the top five in various age groups and competed in five world championships at that distance. He has also achieved several overall victories in numerous Olympic distance races and continues to be an avid golfer as a single digit.
