With more than three decades of experience, Thomas Coulston brings deep expertise in the areas of insurance coverage/bad faith, insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, general liability and other civil litigation matters. His extensive skill set includes preparations of motions, drafting and responding to discovery, review and analysis of depositions, trial preparation and legal research. 

Mr. Coulston began his career as a property claims adjuster with Farmers Insurance Group, investigating, negotiating and settling property claims resulting from fire, water, earth movement, land subsidence, theft, embezzlement and more.

He obtained a J.D. from Western State University, a B.A. from Chapman University and an Accounting degree from Rancho Santiago Community College.

Mr. Coulston is a member of the California State Bar and admitted to the United States District Court, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California.
