Joel Marshall

Paralegal

Joel Marshall is a certified paralegal with a background in Personal Injury and Property Damage Litigation, Employment Law, Business Litigation, Insurance Subrogation, and other civil litigation and corporate law matters. He has nearly 15 years of experience in handling high-volume litigation, including drafting pleadings, drafting law and motion papers, conducting court filings, lawsuit commencement with serving of process, managing all aspects of discovery, managing the trial calendar, and providing trial support and preparation.

Mr. Marshall previously served as a volunteer debtor assistant with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s, Public Counsel Law Center, where he conducted client interviews and seminars regarding the maintenance of assets/liabilities under the Bankruptcy Act, and counseled debtors on filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and explained the process of liquidation under the U.S. bankruptcy laws.

He studied Political Science from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and obtained his Paralegal Certificate from UCLA Extension, an American Bar Association approved program via UCLA School of Law.
